“as in my last post, I wanted to offer up a few thoughts during my time on the road and I’ll say this - 21 shows does not make me an expert in the field by any stretch - but I’m a verbal processor and this is one way for me to enjoy some cathartic debrief as well as hopefully say something that someone at some point will find helpful.”

It was so wild to watch some of the students work through some fears, anxieties, self-doubt and come out the other end on performance night more confident, excited and ready to do it all again.

Rufus Drum Shop’s new location hosted the incomparable Aaron Spears. The clinic was about 2 hours long and contained performances and Q&A. Some of BTN’s students asked some great questions and Aaron blew us away with some drumming that the kids had never seen live before.
