BTN Christmas Recital 2018

Hey folks! This year, the drum academy had its first (hopefully of many to come) Christmas Drum Recitals. The studio is not very big but we managed to fit 80 plus people in the room with over 15 performers. The day of was spent cleaning out the entire space to make room for all the chairs and stringing up lights. We had a few amazing woman volunteer to make tasty treats and BAM, The night began! We had incredible performances by some very nervous students, but it was absolutely incredible to see the students do so well under pressure.

Christmas is a time of giving; I believe that whole-heartedly, and in that spirit I could see the kids giving their best at this performance. I firmly believe that we can apply this concept to life. Even though we may not be fully prepared for what lies ahead, it’s not about being perfect - its about doing your best, putting your heart and mind into it and leaving it all on stage.
