BTN April Update / Drum Sets and Zoom Party's!
Hello everyone and welcome to April!
It has been a great month here at Bring The Noise Drum Academy as we have been very busy working on our Curriculum books, filming online lesson content and getting drum sets into the homes of students who may not have had one before.
The first photo shows off an insane find. That is a vintage 80’s Premier Kit, Made in England and said to have been played on by the one and only Quincy Jones. Claudia (first photo) is one of BTN’s first ever students and a phenomenal young drummer, among so many other talents, including drawing and art design!
Next we have one of BTN’s newest drummers, Jakob. He is such a cool kid and such a determined person. We were able to get him set up with a mix n match kit. Lastly we’ve got our Chiu brothers who got hooked up with a great starter kit, even though I wouldn’t call these boys starter drummers…they are amazing!!
I’m so thankful that we could get these awesome students hooked up with kits so they can grow in their craft as drummers and musicians.
This month, we decided that our BTN hang out was going to be a ZOOM party! It was fun to eat lunch together and connect on life, plans for the future and of course, talk drums and music!
Prizes were given away like Starbucks gift cards, drumsticks, Modern Drummer Magazines and Books! We had a killer turnout and although it was pure mayhem, it was a total blast.
Apart from shifting to online lessons, BTN will fight for normalcy, healthy routines and continuing to help empower people through drumming and music.
