Happy New Year From BTN!!
Hello and welcome to the BTN news page.
My name is Zac, and I have the absolute pleasure of being the owner of this confounding Drum Academy. For 5 years, my one goal has remained the same - to utilize drums and music as the means to build relationships in order to do life with others, in all of it’s complexities - and I have been blessed to be able to do this successfully for the past 5 years.
2021 will mark my 6th years of being a small business owner and although I have many goals to crush and new ventures within this business to pursue, my one and main goal will always be about relationships with people which is why BTN’s tag line is…“WHERE LIFE & RHYTHM COLLIDE.” I chose this as the tag line because I’ve actually seen that practically played out week in, week out and it is truly a beautiful thing to see indeed.
Throughout this past year, I’ve watched many of my small business friends not able to continue. For various reasons, business’s have had to close their doors and people have had to say goodbye to their projects, dreams and ambitions. 2020 was a harrowing year for most of us and I know that we are all peering around the corner, wondering what lies ahead. Well, here are my two cents on that idea, and then I’d like to move along to some highlights of the year.
I’d like to believe that if your heart and mind are postured correctly, hard times can create a certain kind of person. That kind of person would be strong, calm, resilient and patient among other things. This kind of person would understand that no matter how much false confidence we inject in our day to day with plans or money or projections, everyday is just as uncertain as the next, pandemic or no pandemic.
Currently, I am looking for people to do life with that portray these qualities. With fear being in full supply and high demand these days, I am truly running toward this coming year and praying that it is one of contemplative silence, thoughtfulness, patience and with all of that, a sense of renewal and excitement for what lies ahead.
Alright, now that I’ve rambled on, I’d love to switch gears, shut up and show off some highlights of 2020!
Here is the 2020 highlight reel for BTN.
From festivals to recitals, community hang outs to drum set giveaways, new students and new BTN swag, it’s easy for this business to owner to look back at 2020 with a very thankful heart.
I am incredibly excited for what lies ahead in 2021 for Bring The Noise Drum Academy and as always, I will be sharing the story right here. Thank you for taking the time to read and I wish you an incredible end to your year as well as a fresh start to 2021.
